The bunting is out.  Street parties at the ready. The Thames awash with barges and music.  It can mean only one thing.

Joking apart, I’ll be reading my poem ‘Quake – South island’ at the launch of Magma this Monday evening alongside other contributors, including Roddy Lumsden, Ian McEwen and Les Murray.

The magazine launch takes place at the Troubadour, 265 Old Brompton Road, SW5 at 8pm, and will also feature sets by guest poets Maura Dooley and Ian Duhig.
